Thank you to all those who have been working hard and helping your neighbors recover from the effects of the storm on Saturday night. Please know that city crews have been working since early Sunday morning to repair and clear streets of debris as well as repair damaged utilities. City crews are working diligently to remedy all health and safety priorities and will continue to provide relief from the damaging effects of the storm. If you have any questions, concerns or need assistance with storm damage related issues please contact us at 928-432-4202.

There are several contractors soliciting their service to repair damaged buildings and vehicles. To insure you are working with a licensed contractor please contact the Safford City Clerk Office at 432-4000. In addition, to insure a contractor is licensed with the State of Arizona please contact the City of Safford Office of Planning and Community Development at 928-432-4140 or please see the following website:

Safford residents, due to the large amount of debris and trash that you may need to remove from your property please note that the Safford Big Bulk Run will continue until October 20 for all Safford residents. Please place all bulk items at the curb and contact 928-432-4202 to inform sanitation of your need for a pick-up.
