The Planning and Zoning Commission will make a recommendation to the Safford City Council. The recommendation will be presented to the Safford City Council at a public hearing to be a held on Monday September 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in Safford’s Library Program Room, Safford Library Complex, 808 S. 7th Ave., Safford, Arizona.
Case Z-50-21 Zoning Request from MHD to R-2. An application to rezone Graham County Parcel # 101-29-010F, which is located to the east and north of 1272 East Hollywood Road, from MHD Manufactured Home Development District to R-2 Multiple Family Residential District. For the R-2 Multiple Family Residential District, Section 17.36.010 of the Safford Municipal Codes states:
The purpose of this zoning district is to “provide for suitable and appropriate multifamily housing in locations which are suitable and appropriate.”
