Cemetery

The City of Safford owns and operates its own cemetery, located at 450 W Discovery Park Boulevard. 

For information regarding the cemetery, purchase of cemetery space(s), burial location, requests or obtaining a burial permit, please contact the Public Works Office (928-432-4170) during their business hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday.

Q: How many cemetery spaces can I purchase?

     A: One person can purchase up to 4 spaces. 

Q: How much do cemetery spaces cost?

     A: Regular spaces (measuring 6' by 12') are $465.00 per space. Cremation spaces (measuring 6'x6') are $240.00 per space. 

Information needed for purchase of cemetery space(s):

     - Name, address and phone number of purchaser

     - A named beneficiary (this person will have authority over the spaces if the owner is not able to be contacted)

     - Purchaser will need to sign the purchase record
