Mary Bingham is a fifth generation Gila Valley native. She was born and raised in Pima where she grew up in a farming and ranching family. She moved to Safford in 1976 to raise her family and eventually became part owner/manager of Bingham Transfer, a family owned business since 1928.
She has 3 children; a daughter, Mitzi; 2 married sons, Jeremy (Stephanie); Brandon (Kailee) and 4 grandchildren; Bailey, Gavin, Ayden and Kadie.
She stayed very active in her children’s elementary school years as a volunteer in their classrooms. She was a coach and also served on the boards of both the AYSO Soccer Organization and the Mt. Graham Little League. She was chairman of the Red Cross Blood Drive for 12 years and has also helped with the Merry Main Street and Christmas Light Parade. She looks forward to serving the community again.
