Question: How many cemetery spaces can I purchase?
Answer: One person may purchase up to 4 spaces
Question: What is the cost of one space?
Answer: Regular spaces (measuring 6'x12') are $465.00 per space. Cremation spaces
(measuring 6'x'6') are $240.00.
Question: What is a Double Deck Burial?
Answer: A Double Deck burial allows two persons to be buried in the same space, one
below the other. This arrangement must be specified at the time of purchase.
There is no additional charge per space for a Double Deck.
Question: What do I need to purchase a cemetery space(s)?
Answer: To purchase a space, the purchaser must provide:
- Name, Mailing Address, Telephone Number,
- Beneficiary's Name, Mailing Address and Telephone Number (this person will
have authority over the space(s) if the owner is not able to be contacted,
- Cash, Check or Credit Card.
Question: Where do I go to purchase a space(s) and obtain information about burials?
Answer: The Public Works Department is located at 220 W. Discovery Park Blvd., or can be
contacted by telephone at (928) 432-4170, Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m .-
5:00 p.m.
Question: What do I need a Construction Activity Permit for?
Answer: A Construction Activity Permit must be completed for any activity such as:
landscaping, headstone/marker placement and curbing. There is no fee for a
Cemetery Construction Activity Permit.
Question: There is a water spicket located next to my Space, is this for my use only?
Answer: No, the water spickets are provided by the City for public use throughout
the cemetery.
