ROOF REPLACEMENT
Safford, Arizona
The City of Safford (City) is inviting bids from contractors to rebuild the composite roof on the Graham County Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) building located at 1051 W. Thatcher Blvd, Safford, AZ 85546. The project will include the removal of existing roof composite and rebuilding approximately 3,750 square feet of flat-roof system. The work is expected to be substantially complete in 60 days. Additional time may be permitted if needed for longer-than-normal material lead times.

Contractors intending to bid shall register with Andi as plan holders. Addenda issued during the bidding process will be posted to the City’s website and emailed to plan holders.
A mandatory pre-bid conference for this project will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the City’s MYOC office located at 405 W. Discovery Park Blvd., Safford, AZ, 85546, with a site visit afterwards at the GCCC building.
Interested bidders are to deliver or send their bids so they are received by 2:00 PM, local time, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall; 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546, and at that time on that day, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The ITB number, bidder’s name and address, the words “BID ENCLOSED”, and deadline date and time shall appear on the outermost sealed packaging. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total maximum bid price for the contract. Refer to the bid package for further requirements. The City reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening, during which time, bidders will not be allowed to withdraw their bids.

The City of Safford reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or minor irregularities in the bid submission process, and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
